Whitney in the Morning

Whitney strikes again...this time BEFORE school!  I didn't get to see her face, but Jonathan told me that Hallie woke up a little grumpy because she didn't get to sleep as long as she'd like.  But when she went to get her backpack, she found Whitney...and a surprise!  She was THRILLED! :o)  Jonathan said she drew pictures of princesses all the way to school.  What a sweetie pie!

Thanks, Whitney, for your silly antics and making my little girl smile. :o)

Crash!

Whitney must have been running late to get to Hallie!  We found her in Hallie's Cozy Coup, stuck in the corner!  There was a trail of snow dust behind her!  Haha!  Hallie thought it was SO funny because she saw Whitney in her bed before she got in the tub...and then when she got out, Whitney wasn't there.  She said that Whitney must have been in a hurry and was being dangerous!  I love it! :o)

Princess Diary!

There's nothing Hallie loves more than a good journal and any (yes ANY) writing utensil!  So, when Whitney hid in Hallie's tree with a princess diary and a new pencil, Hallie went straight to drawing! :o)  Thanks, Whitney for another little treat!  Hallie gets a kick out of finding Whitney in the silliest spots!

Well Rested!

Whitney must have gotten a great night's rest last night after that copy-cat lip balm incident!  After school, Hallie and I rested  before meeting Daddy for supper (our usual Friday night gig).  Hallie searched high and low for Whitney but just could not find her anywhere!  As we were getting ready to go, Hallie was kinda bummed that she couldn't find Whitney--really, she goes everywhere with us...even to church!  She climbed in the car completely oblivious to the little elf hanging on for dear life!  As she climbed into her carseat, she turned around and gave a little squeal (of fright!).  Then she pointed and said, "Whitney, you SCARED me!"  So precious!  Then she decided to hang on with Whitney.  Those two...too cute!  Whitney brought Hallie a new book...The Nutcracker (Hallie's current favorite thing)! :o)

So Tired

Whitney is exhausted!  I mean, really...she has traveled to Texas from the North Pole (that is a LONG way!)...has been super busy hiding around our house (and car!) with little treats for Hallie.  The elf obviously needed a nap!  Hallie found Hallie after she got out of the tub...and Whitney must have REALLY been tired because Whitney brought the exact SAME lip balm as a few nights ago.  Sigh.  Whitney needs to pay attention.  Thankfully, Hallie loves lip balm and decided that I could have one of them. :o)

Whitney's New Dress!

Whitney just LOVES hiding from Hallie...and Hallie loves finding her! :o)  Tonight, Hallie was hiding in Hallie's refrigerator.  And in tow...a new dress!  For herself!  Ha!  Hallie was pretty excited that Whitney got a new dress, complete with several different colored sashes.  Of course, Hallie had to change her clothes right away...complete with a PINK sash (Hallie's FAVE color!). :o)

Hanging Out

 When Hallie and I got home from school today, we found Whitney hanging out on the foyer door!  Silly Whitney...she had some cute-as-pie polar bear slippers AND some princess lip balm for Hallie.  She was thrilled and showered Whitney with hugs and kisses! :o)  Hallie will have toasty toes and kissy-soft lips!

Sneaky Whitney (Day 6)

Whitney has definitely been played with this Christmas season!  Hallie absolutely adores her and Whitney just about goes EVERYWHERE with Whitney.  You can imagine that this makes it quite difficult for Whitney to be sneaky and get little presents for Hallie ready to surprise her! ;o)

This morning, while Daddy was getting dressed, Hallie made Whitney a little bed on her toy chest.  So cute.  I can imagine the conversations they were having (I had already left for school and found this when I got home this afternoon to grab Hallie's ballet/tap things).  With Hallie in the car awaiting the ride to ballet, Whitney took the chance to jump down off the toy chest and into my arms, grabbing a little gift along the way. :o)

 While Hallie was in ballet/tap class, Whitney climbed out from her hiding spot in the car and into Hallie's carseat with some Skittles (Hallie's favorite candy!).  Hallie was extremely surprised to find Whitney in her carseat after ballet/tap class!

Day 5--Whitney's living the high life in Texas right now!  She's enjoying the sunshine and warm weather and says she may never go back to the North Pole!  However, I know she misses all her elf friends and Mr. and Mrs. Claus...so I don't think she could stay away from the North Pole and snowy weather forever! :o)

Pink Trees and Whitney the Elf

We finally got Hallie's beautiful, pink Christmas tree up and decorated!  And Whitney made her appearance underneath all the pink glory tonight!  Hallie was excited to find Whitney underneath her tree with three brand new princess pens! :o)

 Walking down the hallway, Hallie spotted these little green elf-like feeties sticking out from under the linen closet door!  Poor Whitney--she had gotten stuck while trying to hide from Hallie.  I wondered aloud why Whitney would be trying to slide underneath the door.  Hallie explained to me that she wasn't tall enough to reach the doorknob--smarty pants! :o)

I believe Whitney was very glad to have Hallie rescue her! :o)

Yay--a new coloring book!  Hallie loves all things art, so this was right up her alley!  Thanks, Whitney!

Whitney Day 2

That Whitney...she knows just what Hallie LOVES!  Princess shoes! :o)  Hallie was very excited to get more princess shoes, though she politely pointed out that they are very similar to some princess shoes she already owns.  LOL.  Oh my!  She is such a girl. 

Whitney Time!

It's that time of year again...the time when Whitney the Elf comes in from the North Pole on a "vacation" from Santa's workshop!  As December approaches, Hallie grows very excited about the arrival of her little friend!  At the mailbox, I found Whitney...Hallie wasn't with me or she would have been super excited!  She was with Gramps and RahRah.  So per her request, I removed the surprise from the mailbox and hand delivered it to McAlister's (where we were enjoying supper that night). :o)  The look on her face was priceless when she saw Whitney had come to visit her!
